With over 30 years Human Resources experience across a variety of sectors I founded Nicola Hale People Consulting, a boutique consultancy offering fractional and freelance People Director services and retained HR support to a select number of clients.

Delivering business-first, strategic HR solutions that drive performance impact. My sweet spot? A sharp sense of what's needed to improve performance, coupled with the ability to cut through noise and deliver results-driven people strategies.

With a commercial mindset and intuitive grasp of opportunities, I lead with performance in mind, always through a people-focused lens. I work with genuine care, but at the core, my efforts serve to enhance overall business performance.

My background is a unique blend of specialist and generalist HR (Industrial Relations, Talent, Bid Team Lead, Business Lead).  Very early in my career I also worked outside HR in Retail, Finance, Customer Services and Engineering teams.   â€‹â€‹I have built and led purposeful HR functions in large organisations - so I have practiced the art of Leadership too.  â€‹Given this experience, I have seen a lot of variety in organisation cultures and in the experiences that individuals have in them.  I've also learnt a thing or two about how to truly engage people.
